Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Lisa Gangel and I am so excited to get to know all of you and would like to give you the opportunity to get to know me a little better.
This is my 21st year of teaching at San Pasqual. It is my 27th year of teaching overall. In previous years I have taught kindergarten and 3rd grade in Austin, Texas, 6th grade in Manteca, CA, and Kindergarten and 1st grade here at San Pasqual. I am very excited to be teaching 2nd Grade this year! I grew up in a small town in Kansas and received my Bachelor of Science in Education at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. (Go Gorillas!) That is where I met and married my husband of 35 years. My husband and I have had the opportunity to live in many interesting places before settling down in Valley Center. I have two adult children, my son, who graduated from CSU Long Beach and now resides in Dallas, Texas and my daughter, who graduated from the University of San Diego and currently lives in San Diego. I am a huge animal lover and have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I absolutely love teaching and look forward to another exciting year at San Pasqual! |
